Saturday 23rd October is Mole Day - a day to celebrate the chemistry mole and in particular to commemorate the work of Avogadro. The day is celebrated between 6.02 am to 6.02 pm on 10/23 (the date written in the American style) which you will recognise as Avogadro’s constant.

In the run-up to Mole Day, I have written a daily mole challenge which you could give to your GCSE students.
