Eduqas GCSE Music AOS1 Lesson 2 - Form and Structure

This is a resource for an introductory lesson on form and structure suitable for classes just starting the Eduqas Music GCSE. Contains a powerpoint and 5-page worksheet. Activities include a key word/feature recap starter (based on key words from the Lesson 1 resource); treble clef simple dictation; introduction to the musical forms specificed by Eduqas; a group work activity on structure; an exam-style listening plenary. Answers for the plenary and audio links are all in the powerpoint. The dictation tasks requires teacher use of a piano - some guidance is given but this activity can be personalised to the ability of your students.
