Eduqas GCSE Music - Music for Ensemble
3 sets of lessons which revise Chamber music, Musical theatre and Jazz and blues music under the Music for ensemble category. Students must revise key words and categorise them into a revision grid. Powerpoints are provided for each lesson with differentiation embedded. There are listening questions for each style of music and musical theatre and jazz and blues also provide longer answer questions and options to plan these answers and a hint sheet to support lower ability students.
AQA A level music - Romantic Chamber Music
A group of resources giving a full anlaysis of Mendelssohn's Piano Trio in D minor, Brahms' Piano Quintet in F minor and Debussy's String Quartet in G major (all the scherzo movement). Powerpoints are provided for all pieces with questions for students to aid in the analysis of these pieces. There are also factfiles to be completed by students linking to the music elements (completed factfiles are included). Lessons also include ideas on how to complete the essay questions with model answers and a structure to follow within a lesson. Extra resources, including main themes, are also provided for each piece.
