End of Term General Revision: "Who wants to be a millionaire?"

This resource contains over 40 Power Point slides including 20 multiple-choice questions, with a design based on the famous quiz show. Ser vs estar, contrasting past tenses, verb-subject agreement, irregular verbs, prepositions, saber vs conocer or when to use an infinitive are all items included in practical sentences typical of the CGSE curriculum.

There are also extension questions (in the pink boxes) below each answer to challenge more able students and encourage more participation. These questions also allow you to explore in some more depth the different grammar and lexical items contained in each slide.

The main outcome is to revise general grammar for the GCSE syllabus, with an emphasis on grammatical points where students often make errors.

This is, thus, an ideal resource for Year 9, Year 10 and Year 11 students.

The slides are user-friendly and visually clear. The tasks lend themselves well to pair work, both in person and online. The teacher may change some of the questions or add new ones as they see fit.
