There's a great virtual gamelan app for ipad or iphone if you need other instruments. I used it for the big gong, played at the end of each phrase.\n\nPupils can explore Indonesia with Google Earth, or Maps, watch a great video on YouTube of an authentic gamelan orchestra and learn the piece Lancaran Cobowo.\n\nIf you don&'t own a gamelan - metallaphones, xylophones, bells, pots, and djembes are all good.
