This group carousel style lesson revises the GCSE topics of family and friends, world of work, holidays and free time in one lesson as well as the present, preterite, imperfect, conditional, near future and simple future tenses.
Pupils practise through techniques required in the GCSE examinations (translations, photocards, reading exercises) by gathering information about a person and collating it on one sheet.
This can be differentiated easily to suit KS3 however I have used this version successfully with year 9 higher sets and GCSE classes.
I usually provide a recording device on the speaking part of the carousel activity to allow for play back and peer assessment.
