I-Y preterit verbs practice conjugations questions and sentences

Verbs included: leer, caer, creer, oir

-UIR verbs: destruir, construir, influir, incluir

Part 1: For each verb, write the correct conjugation for the yo, tú, nosotros, and vosotros forms using the word bank provided. For the 3rd person singular (Él / Ella / Ud) and 3rd person plural (Ellos / Ellas / Uds) conjugations, write a “Y” in the blank provided.

Part 2: Answer each question in a complete sentence in Spanish in the preterit tense. (8 total / one question for each of the 8 verbs)

Part 3: Complete each sentence in an original manner using the preterit tense. In the first blank conjugate the verb in the preterit tense and in the second blank add 3-4 words to expand on the sentence. Your sentences must make sense. (8 total / one sentence for each verb)

Answer key is included for part 1 only. For parts 2 and 3, student answers will vary.
