This Jacobites lesson investigates the consequences of the 1745 rebellion and the aftermath of Culloden. Students are to assess whether the authorities dealt with the rebels ruthlessly or right.

It is differentiated where possible with scaffolding and challenge options and is fully planned with plenty of activities for your students to complete, including a starter, all clips and related tasks, venn diagram with sort cards, diamond 9 activity, two consolidation evaluation question and two plenaries (self/peer assessment and a thinking/discussion).
Activities are planned to encourage thinking and discussion.
