Five types of resource I frequently use when teaching LCDBA including a new resource on symbolism. 1. The grammar challenge is ideal for a starter and is linked to the A-Level specification, it includes simple/compound tenses, infinitive structures which take prepositions, present and past subjunctive. 2. The quote cards come with a theme index to help with evidencing points made in essays. 3. The flick PowerPoint seems to be a favourite and is a go-to for revision, starters, minutes that need to be filled. 4. The symbolism reading and writing worksheet has proven popular. 5. A **free** character analysis resource to track development over time and character effect in moving the plot forward. Includes a contrasting adjective worksheet for every character to be used in conjunction with the infinitive structures worksheet to begin writing evidence points relating to character traits. 6. Infinitive structures and verbs worksheet which includes 40 verbs to sort by character which can be used to evidence points made in writing. 7. A 15 page student book with reading activities to complete week by week to check comprehension of the plot as well as add to discussions about cultural differences and opinions.
