A French group activity to help describe your house.

How does it work?

• First, give everyone a copy of the text.
• Learners start by filling in the literacy sheet on this.
• Next, randomly give out the pictures which you (of course in all that spare time you’ve got…) have printed and cut up.
• Learners then use the text as a basis for writing by working as a group. They can then present their writing to the class at the end. The class try to work out which property they have described and give reasons why.

Alternatively… not in the mood for group work? Give each learner a picture to do the writing individually. Or even in pairs! Bon courage…
