I’ve found that the lists are a great learning support resource, and they’re really popular with students too. They work well when students keep them carefully in learning files or folders for current and future reference. We use our reference lists to help students audit their developing beginner Latin vocabulary. They’re useful printed double-sided and laminated for small-group work in class. Numbers and Roman Numerals definitely provide lots of ***opportunities for cross-curricular learnin***g in class time, particularly with mental maths games, which really helps beginner Latin learners get to grips with the target vocabulary.
