Need a fun activity for winter? This is a perfect solution! These snowman matching games are an easy and fun way to practice identifying notes on the piano and treble clef notes. Use this as a warm up for piano lessons or as a centers game in elementary music if you’re teaching group piano.

Students will build snowman by matching letter names, notes on the staff, and piano keys. You could also just use the top two pieces of the snowmen to reinforce staff letters, or the top and bottom to reinforce notes on the piano. This would be great for centers in the elementary music class, or for private piano lessons.

Matching games are also available in recorder fingerings, rhythm, and treble clef. Or you can get piano matching, but as snowmen, hearts, shamrocks, or puzzle pieces.

Includes:
Directions
9 matching snowmen (some letters are on there twice-- high and low version)

Note: These use letter names (A, B, C, etc), not fixed do names (do, re, mi, etc)
