128 news video clips and headlines with key words and expressions in bold. As well as a useful translation activity, it is great for overall vocabulary. The clips vary in content but most are between 2-5 minutes which are great for starters in a lesson. The majority have subtitles and cover a range of topics including social issues, politics, sport and culture. Many of the topic areas are also directly and/or indirectly linked to themes and topics across the Spanish A level spectrum. I have also included a vocabulary list (from the headlines) at the end. These can also serve as a springboard to discussion points whilst consolidating listening skills too.
