This is a skills-based lesson where students analyse primary sources and historical interpretations.

Students will consider why there are different interpretations for the same historical event.

There will then be an exam question (3b on Paper 2 from the new Edexcel specification), with guidance on how to answer.

This is part of a series of lessons that aims to encompass the new 9-1 GCSE skills into Key Stage 3.

Lessons are colourful and engaging and match the content of the new Exploring History textbook from Pearson, although the textbook is not necessary for any of the tasks.
