Traditional tales story map - storytelling, writing and speaking and listening development

Story telling is a powerful way of encouraging your class to develop confidence as speakers and writers and explore new vocabulary and sentence structures. This resource provides a hand-drawn story map to provide support for learners to develop their own story as well as vocabulary cards to develop new vocabulary and grammatical structures. It can be adapted to be used in all year groups and with all groups of learners. Suggestions and ideas are included as well as reference to the new National curriculum PoS for English.
