Trick or treat song and fill in the gaps

This lesson is perfect for Halloween. Based on the popular song “Trick or Treat” students learn about foods and how to classify them according to their characteristics. The packet contains a fill in the gaps to boost children’s listening skill and a worksheet to help children categorize foods. As a follow up teachers could bring to school some foods and have children blindfolded taste them and guess what they are. Also teachers could ask each students to describe their favorite food and tell the class why they like it. The lesson is suitable for native speakers grade 1 to 5 and upper beginner ESL students aged 8 to 12.
