Original Music for School Orchestra

Composed in a light classical style Aria and the Blue Peter Variations suit an intermediate standard school or amateur orchestra, and have been performed with great success in the Westcountry. Shanty time takes the well known 'Drunken Sailor' , mixing it with 'Roll the Old Chariot Along' and other traditional tunes for a performance piece designed with a secondary orchestra in mind, but involving pupils from the feeder primary schools taking on percussion parts. Great Fun, and first performed on Red Nose Day a a few years ago now! The Concertino for Viola and Trumpet makes up the bundle, and was the first Orchestral piece written for the West Somerset Junior Orchestra back in 2003. Needs soloists at about grade 5.
