This lesson looks at what rationing was like on the Home Front during World War Two. Pupils are asked to think about what was rationed and then to figure out how much they think people would have been given of different foods. Following this there is a rationing quiz where pupils have to complete simple maths problems to work out how much a family would receive. A great way to add numeracy into the lesson.
