Literacy linked with science (electricity) in Year 2. children had made circuits previously, we recapped the features of instructions and then used these writing frames to write our own. Use blank sheet, fill in title, What you need and instructions. Draw diagram when finished and label.
Extension for more able – write a top tip e.g. do not put batteries in your mouth or make sure battery is the right way round.
