We are a team of Primary teachers with an average of 15 years teaching experience each. Our resources are primarily aimed at primary aged children but can also be used to support secondary children. We have had success in the past with our Excel files created for teachers and school assessment. Reviews have been very positive with many returning customers. We now want to share our experience through TES for teachers.

Maths - subtraction - column method, 3 digits numbers (Year 4).

This pack includes a 5-day unit of work in which the learning is the subtraction of numbers 3-digit numbers. Over the course of the 5 days, the journey of the learning starts with no exchanging and progresses up to exchanging on the third, fourth and fifth day. The 'P' in P skills stands for 'pre'; this is simply a less challenging selection of questions in which less able children can access the learning, but still be challenged in their own way. The pack is all set up and complete to simply print off and teach with. Attached are suggested WALTs ('We are learning to's'), however you school may have a different policy in place for your learning WALTs/learning objectives. Each lesson is separated with a different number at the beginning of the file. The recommended way to use these resources are as follows: - work way through the slips in the order of 'skill', 'application', 'reasoning' and 'greater depth'. - the following day, dependant on the children's attainment the day before the children can start further in the stage because that is the level of challenge they require. However, if you see a way to use these resources in a different way then let us know, so we can maybe improve our products for the future. NB: some of the questions within these products have been used in line with WRH and NCETM resources. There may be some overlap.

This is an ideal pack for people wanting to inspire the children at the beginning of term with resources differentiated to their needs. Create your own times tables worksheet using this Excel file. The file allows you to choose which times tables to test the children with - you can choose one, two, three or four different times tables to test them with (this is currently pre-populated but you can change this easily). All you then need to do is highlight the cells with the questions in and print them out. A refresh button allows you to quickly and easily create a new sheet meaning that you will have unlimited options with this fantastic resource. We are happy to make one free adjustment to your file free of charge - just email the team at twodresourcesteam@outlook.com although we would own intellectual rights to this customised file. This file is a fantastic tool to use with your current Year 6 to see how they are doing in relation to what is expected of them. If you use the 2017 KS2 tests (these can be downloaded from https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/national-curriculum-assessments-practice-materials), you will be able to highlight where your children need extra support either as a whole group or individually. We used our 2016 version last year to target intervention and support. This lead to a massive improvement from the previous year's results.
