This is a great resource to use as a spelling/reading intervention for children who need to build up a sight vocabulary of key words. The resource allows you to use 5 key words at a time. These words are then randomly selected to create a list for the children to read. If you print off the blank grid as well, the children can write the words that an adult reads to them from the grid.
This resource comes with a refresh button (macros need to be enabled) that allows the user to change the grid if too many of one of the words are in close proximity to each other.
This file contains 8 statements read about by characters from the Simpsons to provoke conversation for children. It is a great resource to use either before a study to assess what the children already know or at the end to evaluate their learning.
Use of the Simpsons characters is done purely to add interest for the children - we have taken these images from the internet.
