In this fun series of distance learning worksheets, you look at the balance beam to try to determine what the beam will do. Which side is heaviest, or will the beam balance evenly? The student must work out how heavy each side weighs and also take into consideration the distance of that weight from the pivot point.
Choose the image is a fun series of distance learning worksheets to help with recognising phoneme sounds. Draw a line from the letter on the left to the correct image on the right that begins with that letter. These worksheets start out simple but become progressively more challenging.
Counting money with UK coins.
The Coins UK 2 series is an extension to the Coins UK 1 money series of distance learning worksheets. Various piles of UK coins are depicted. Simply add up all the coins and write the answer in the space provided.

A fun game of wordsearch… but with a twist.
Find the exact combination of Australia coins in the wordsearch grid.
This is just like a regular wordsearch puzzle but instead of letters, combinations of Australian coins are used.
The initial distance learning worksheets are relatively simple but become progressively more challenging. The last couple of worksheets require the student to find the correct combination of coins that add up to the desired value, so it’s just as much a mental maths challenge as it is a visual pattern search challenge.

Fractions made simple with visuals.
Making fractions easy and fun with this wonderful series of distance learning worksheets that present basic fraction problems is visual form. Depending on the worksheet, the numerator, denominator or both need to be determined based on the visual representation of the fraction. The worksheets start out simple but become progressively more challenging.
Compound words are formed when two separate words are joined together to form a new one. Identify which two words can be joined together to form a compound word. These distance learning worksheets begin simple with visual aids to help the student get going. As the student progressed through the worksheet series, the visual aids slowly drop off, making it a bit more of a challenge. The last 5 worksheets present clues with one part of the compound word provided for the student to complete the compound word.
Solve the maths problems on each distance learning worksheet. The resulting number from each maths problem is then filled in on a 1-100 grid of numbers. When all the correct numbers have been filled in, the mystery image is revealed.
Kids love the mystery of what the image will be, which makes working on the maths problems that much more fun.
In this module, there is a single image but there are seven different maths worksheets that each product the same set of numbers. In this way, children with different abilities are catered for. Each sheet features a specific type of maths problem so there are plenty of options to choose from:
Place value - easy (with visual blocks of 10s & 1s)
Place value - harder (with numerals of 10s & 1s to count)
Addition - easy (with no carrying over)
Addition - harder (with carrying over required)
Subtraction - easy (with no carrying over)
Subtraction - harder (with carrying over required)
Subtraction - harder (all numbers subtracted from 100)
Just choose the type of maths problem that’s most suitable to the students’ abilities.
This is image A (an up arrow) from 10 possible images.
Some sheets are replicated with one having sums presented horizontally and others vertically. This way, there’s an option for whichever way your students are comfortable with.

Mystery Picture Maths is a fun series of distance learning worksheet puzzles wherein you have to solve maths problems to slowly reveal a mystery image on a 1-100 grid.
For each maths problem solved, the resulting number (the answer to the problem) is blacked out in the 1-100 grid of numbers. When all the problems are solved and all the correct numbers in the grid are blacked out, the mystery image is revealed.
For each mystery image, there are a range of different types of maths questions sheets. In this way, you can tailor the activity to the students based on their abilities and everyone can play along.
The following types of maths problems are represented in this activity:
Place value - easy (with visual blocks of 10s & 1s)
Place value - harder (with numerals of 10s & 1s to count)
Addition - easy (with no carrying over)
Addition - harder (with carrying over required)
Subtraction - easy (with no carrying over)
Subtraction - harder (with carrying over required)
Subtraction - harder (all numbers subtracted from 100)
Fun way to learn place value with this fun series of distance learning worksheets. Various number combinations are presented for adding up. The numbers are chosen so as to avoid having to carry numbers over, which means the student can concentrate entirely on the concept of place value. These worksheets tackle the concept in various fun and highly visual ways, taking much of the strain out of the learning. Like all Bounce Learning Kids worksheets, these start out simple but become progressively more challenging as you work through the sheets. They provide instructions as well as testing acquired knowledge.
