Hi and thank you for looking at my resources. I have been a Primary school teacher for 22 years with a passion for English. I love reading and the teaching of reading. A lot of my resources work well with SEND/EAL children but what works well for SEN- works for all!

Each child has an easy to access sheet suitable for all. Walk around the class asking others if they have done any of the kind acts on the sheet- if they have, write their name or initial letter. This is a visual track game designed for SEND children but suitable for all! After learning about space, children can race each other around the board, asking and answering questions about what they have learnt. It might be that they have learned about a couple of astronauts or that they have learnt about the planets. Children can pre-plan a couple of questions using the question openers so that they are ready to play. A fun way to see what they know and a good opportunity for children to generate their own questions based on their learning.
