A thorough 50 page revision booklet that I will be using with Year 11 to revise Section A of paper 1. Lessons attached as PowerPoints. Each section of the revision booklet links to each point on the specification. A huge variety of revision tasks included e.g. knowledge tests, exam questions, mark schemes, structure strips, homework and lesson plans. All case study sheets for section A included. Excel league table spreadsheet attached. This booklet could also be set as homework. 8 knowledge tests in total. The lessons should take approximately 15 hours. A brilliant selection of resources I have created to teach plate tectonics. I have included easy to follow PowerPoint's for each lesson and attached the relevant worksheets/printouts. The students loved the diversity of the activities which includes maps from memory, desk mat tasks, market place, card sorts, earthquake proof building design, timelines, cartoon strips, a mid unit test and lots more interesting tasks. I have included starter tasks for each lesson, learning objectives using what, why and how, main tasks and consolidate/plenary tasks. They are really easy to follow. A collaboration of lessons created for the Deserts topic from Living World section of the new AQA geography specification. I have included a large range of resources e.g. camel from memory, design a desert plant, mysteries, market place tasks, desk mats, mapping tasks, case study sheets, mind maps, research tasks, graphs, card sorts and lots more. I have also included practise exam questions to go with each lesson. Each lesson is 120 minutes. I am teaching the GCSE over three years so their is lots of extra tasks.
