Here is a table designed to encourage students to assess the advantages and disadvantages of a range of sources in preparation for the Historic Environment part of the Edexcel 9-1 exam. The modelling has been directed at the medicine through time course but it can easily be adapted and used for any of the topics. It is particularly useful for helping with the 4-mark ‘follow-up’ questions.

Here is a fun general historical knowledge quiz aimed at KS3 students which would be good for tutor time/a charity event/a house event/an end of term activity.
