This is a fully differentiated lesson for the functional skills new reform. The lesson focuses on the activist Greta Thunberg and her speech to the UN. The lesson looks at some of the more advanced techniques used in speech writing. Additionally, the lesson looks at a transcript of the speech and allows the students to analyse this in-depth before going on to produce their own speech. This lesson works well for both functional skills and GCSE English, is well planned and comes with all resources needed.
