Teacher resources for two 60 minute lessons on the law of murder. The first lesson focuses on the actus reus of murder and the second on the mens rea of murder. Contains a powerpoint and worksheet relating to elements which make up the offence of murder in criminal law. Suitable for courses at level 3 including A level law, BTEC & law modules on Access to HE . There is a student copy and teacher copy of the worksheet with answers. The worksheet is designed to accompany the Youtube clip on the topic created by e-lawresources and students will need to watch the video to complete it. The 5 question starter on the power point relates to the prior lesson of wounding and GBH in this series on NFOAPs. This can be changed if you have not yet studied this topic. The lessons should take approx 60 mins. There are suggested timings in the powerpoint at the end of the slides. In addition to the starter, there are 3 tasks and a plenary. Printing requirements: 1 A4 sheet two sided per student which covers the two lessons.
