1 hour, fully resourced lesson which introduces the Jehovah’s Witnesses as an alternative religious movement. The lesson covers their establishment, belief system, rules and hierarchy. It also examines criticisms and details the positives as explained by believers. The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging, well differentiated and fun activities. It is useful for RE or could be used as a standalone lesson as something different for a drop-down-day.

A lesson to raise awareness and encourage reporting of the harmful and dangerous practice of FGM. Also includes information on breast ironing. Students will investigate why these practices still happen in the modern world and what they can do to help us all put a stop to it. Editable, at least one hour, clip answers included. Please note this is an updated version of our 2020 lesson.
This has been created to best suit KS3 and is entirely editable. It covers the DfE and PSHE Association guidance for 2020-24 and will last you one hour.

**Making and keeping friends KS1 PSHE lesson. **
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities may also be suitable for younger KS2 children (Year 3).
In this lesson, the students will learn about making friends, including the dos and don’ts of meeting new people . We will discuss places where we can make new friendships and reflect on the bests way to let someone know that you would like to be friends with them.

A PSHE lesson which investigates what media literacy is and why it’s so important in the TikTok age. Suited to KS3 or KS4, students study fake news articles to pick apart how we can tell if something is unreliable or biased, learn the meaning of critical thinking and scepticism, and most importantly, by the end will understand why social media sites are not the best places for health and personal advice. Students will also explore how influencers stand to gain monetarily from pushing particular products and narratives.

Vaping - what is it and why is it so dangerous?
In this lesson, the students will revisit their previous knowledge of smoking and vaping, as we delve deeper into the issue of underage vaping, its health risks and the wider environmental impact.
The lesson will look at the history of vaping and it’s role in driving down the use of tobacco, before discussing the growing trend of vaping amongst young people.
We will be reminded of our fundamental British values, with respect to the rule of law and democracy as we evaluate the effectiveness of our current laws and create a campaign to lobby the government for stricter regulations.
The lesson is both challenging and mature and has been created with a view to being used with students in Year 6, however, the resources are also suitable for use in LKS3 (Years 7 or 8).

Career routes and qualification KS2 PSHE Lesson. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson has been created for Year 3, however, the resource is suitable for use across KS2. In this lesson, the students will explore the different career routes that are available to them including college, university and apprenticeships. We will look at Secondary, Further and Higher Education, and discuss examples of the courses that people can study at each level (GCSEs, A-levels, degrees, vocational courses etc). The students will then record their knowledge on a foldable worksheet.

Goals and targets KS2 PSHE Lesson. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. We will look at the reasons why people set personal goals, and through a series of examples explore the different ways that a goal can be broken down into smaller, manageable targets.
