PSHE introduction to the topic of Health and Wellbeing for KS3. It introduces the difference between Health and Wellbeing, investigates healthy and unhealthy habits and covers the importance of always trying our best to keep healthy. It also gives the students templates to complete their own health and wellbeing improvement plans within the lesson. Lots to keep a class occupied and inspire students to be at their individual best!
All answers included. This meets all the latest 2020-2025 PSHE guidelines and will last you one hour. You need no previous knowledge to teach this as it comes with all information needed.

This is a simple but thought-provoking board game to be played in pairs. Use a coin and move one place for tails and two for heads, that way more of the dilemmas will be discussed.
You will need to cut out the dilemma cards. For each card the player has to decide how they would act in a difficult friendship scenario. The first to reach the finish line has shown the qualities needed to be a genuinely good friend.

This detailed 21 page PSHE workbook all about County Lines has been created for the new PSHE / RSE and Health 2020/21 Statutory Guidance (specifically personal safety). It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete.
The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. No internet access needed.

1 hour - 90 min, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS5 (could be used with high-abiity KS4) all about cancel culture online-shaming, call-out culture and ‘cancelling.’ The lesson examines high profile cases, such as that of JK Rowling and her gender-critical comments. Students will investigate whether call-out culture helps achieve social justice can lead to a society with better morals, or whether it is at best unconstructive and at worst, toxic.

A booklet for assessing progress in PSHE. This booklet has been created for students completing a healthy lives / healthy eating PSHE unit. It was created for KS3 and is adaptable. It has been created using PSHE Association guidelines.
There are many ways of assessing in PSHE. This booklet allows you to focus on both literacy and skills (based on both Bloom’s Taxonomy and the requirements for extensive writing subjects in GCSE with the 9-1 grades). The booklet offers students a variety of long and short tasks to complete, with the options of either peer or teacher assessment. It includes all guidance on how to mark with two easy markschemes.
The tasks make it very easy for teachers to evidence progress and are simple enough for students to read through and complete themselves, without much guidance. These assessments are created around the EC Resources Healthy Lives Unit (but can be used for any health unit).
These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow. All the resources are editable, so easy to adapt further for your classes if you want to.

A 20 page activity pack for Tutor Time that can be given to students to get on with independently. This is great for when you have a bit of form admin to do and you just need your tutor group to get on with productive tasks quietly for a while.
Each task should last 25- 30 minutes and there are 20 pages of tasks.
