1 hour, fully resourced lesson which focuses on introducing Scientology as a new religious movement and examines criticisms, but also compares the validity of Scientology beliefs to Christian ones- as students will discover, they actually have quite a lot in common! An assembly focusing on the dangers of fake news, how we recognise fake news and the importance of being aware of it. The assembly explores the fact that it was Hitler who invented the idea of fake news and then examines how he used it to gain power and control the public, before comparing it to the way politicians use fake news - from Thatcher to Trump. There are then slides which explore how to recognise fake news and what to do if you’re unsure.
The slides shown are just a sample of those included. The whole assembly follows an easy narrative that can be used with no additional prep (although it is also editable should you want to). Best suited for secondary students.

British Values Assembly. Suitable for use with either KS2 or KS3, this fun, light-hearted assembly is perfect for introducing, or reinforcing your student’s knowledge of all five British values.
In this assembly, King Charles III presents British values and their importance to a less-than-interested student, Loudmouth Lewis, in an attempt to win him over.
The PowerPoint includes embedded clips, audio tracks, and surprise animations to keep your audience engaged. It is humorous, informative, and very engaging. The assembly lasts about up to 20 minutes if all the clips are watched. The PowerPoint is also fully editable with the exception of the background image. We advise watching the slideshow in full before showing it to your students, so you know how long to spend on each slide.
This is me KS1 Year 1 Autumn 1 PSHE lesson.
Created with a view to being delivered in the first PSHE lesson of the year, this hour-long, fully resourced lesson is a perfect introduction to the KS1 PSHE curriculum.
Whilst the lesson has been created with Year 1 in mind, the activities are also suitable for students in Year 2.
In this lesson, the children will learn about their likes, dislikes, and the things that make us unique. We will briefly discuss our strengths and interests and acknowledge individual variation in the things that we find difficult or challenging.
We will listen to Can I Build Another Me? by Shinsuke Yoshitake, before completing activities linked to the text.

This detailed 23 page PSHE / RSE workbook has been created for the new PSHE / RSE and Health 2020 Statutory Guidance and focuses on drugs, their effects, UK law, addiction and harm reduction. It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete.
The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. This could be left as cover (as appropriate to the class and cover teacher) as there’s nothing explicit on the relationships side of things and all of the terminology is carefully explained. No internet access needed.
