The unit starts with an introduction to why genocide was such a significant and horrendous hallmark of the 20th century, before focusing on 4 genocides in particular, then an additional lesson on the Stolen Generations (not a genocide, but a mass replacement of indigenous peoples, and something many students are unaware happened).
