A series of posters personifying punctuation marks as cute and colourful animals, giving them a personality, spoof humorous Latin names and 'endangered ratings' based on their difficulty of use. All illustrations and words by the author. Really useful as a classroom display or to have as a starter. Could also be a resource for all students for their books. Great for cross-curricular or literacy in KS3 and 4. Good for engaging students with punctuation in a fun and interesting way. Colourful cartoon images and definitions. Suitable for KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4

A handy resource that helps students understand: -Word classes -Word derivation -Word ordering and grammar It is based on the concept of combining Latin vocabulary to create spells that have an effect determined by the words chosen. Students choose a noun, verb and adjective and then decide what the outcome of the spell could be. They can play around with re-ordering the words to change the effect of the spell. Can be used to inspire creative writing activities. Useful for KS2 and 3.
