After 9 years in the IT profession I took up secondary teaching in ICT. That then morphed into Computer Science which I now teach at both GCSE and A level. Over the past 5 years I have updated and vastly improved the KS3 IT and Computing curriculum at my school, making the lessons more practical and engaging. They focus on building skills as well as knowledge and all are differentiated so students with learning needs can access the resources easily. I include my own self-made video tutorials for many topics so students can go at their own pace. I also teach GCSE and A level Economics, having dabbled in some units of GCSE and BTEC in Business.
