I have been a math teacher for almost 20 years at all age levels, homeschool through college, private schools and public schools. I've taught gifted students, challenged students, and students who thought math was BORING. My favorite students to teach, though, are the ones who think they can't do it.

A Kaffenate Mini Module is a one page (front and back) sheet that covers a single topic.
Each KMM has:
–An instructional section: The instructional sections at the top of each page are either very thorough examples, step-by-step instructions, or both.
–Practice problems: Problems start out easy and get progressively more difficult throughout the module. Each problem has enough space for the student to work it out right there.
–Challenge or puzzle: The kids love the challenges or puzzles that are part of each module. These acts as both incentives and, sometimes, self-checking tools.
–Answer Keys! Busy teachers don’t have time to make their own answer keys. I’ve done that for you.
Kaffenate Mini Modules can be used in SO MANY WAYS!
–Topic Introduction
–Daily Warm Up
–Homework
–Pop Quiz
–Substitute Plans
–Extension Work
–Catch-up Work
–Topic Review
–OR whatever else YOU can think of! (In fact, tell me how you use them!)

Was Algebra created just to torture students in math class? No way! It developed BECAUSE of real life… just watch the video to see…
While I’d like to believe that students LIVE to watch MATH videos… I know that’s not always the case. Sigh. This worksheet will help keep the students on track, either at home or in class. Or perhaps you could use this as a pop quiz!
Do you remember when you were a kid in science class, and you just wanted to blow something up already! But, your teacher wanted you write down all of your steps in accordance with the SCIENTIFIC METHOD? Yep, this is the statistics version of that…
Sometimes there are those 15 minutes you need to fill, but the kids STILL need to be engaging their brains! These two games are easy to have at the ready…and always a winner with the kids.
Games:
Board Slam
5x5
All you need is the printable, a deck of cards, pencils, and 3 dice. Ready, Set, GO!
You can never have too much practice doing long division and multiplication!
This is just a simple extra practice file with a crossword for the answers.

Math Mixups are a fun twist on Math Magic Squares.
The numbers in the grey boxes are row and column totals. However, the numbers in the middle are all mixed up! Students need to rearrange the numbers so that the sums of the columns and rows equal the numbers in the grey boxes… with a few numbers to get them started.
This is a great activity for filling that last 10 minutes of the day or for students who finish work early in class.
Have fun!
Welcome to BRAIN BUSTERS!
My students often ask, “Can we do Brain Busters today!?!?”
Brain Busters are puzzle packets designed to keep the kids thinking and working those critical thinking muscles…but in a FUN way! There’s a little something for everyone in these packets.
Brain Busters are great to keep in the classroom as productive time fillers. If students finish their classwork early, this gives them a fun project to go to instead of talking or becoming disruptive. (I do not allow my students to take their packets home. They just keep them in school and work on them as they can.)
EASTER EDITION INCLUDES:
Division Sudoku
Magic Squares
Word Hunt
Word Puzzles
Rebus Puzzles
DISCLAIMER: I actually call them “Brain Busters Candy Crushers” in my class. Each time a student finishes a packet, he/she gets a small piece of candy. You could also have a prize box of some kind. Who doesn’t love prizes!?
