This worksheet is essentially for EAL/SEN/Lower ability students, ensuring they learn the key words in regards to Jack the Ripper. The worksheet covers his murders of the victims and information about them. Students must answer questions and there is a comprehension task.

An introductory lesson to The Weimer Republic in the World War One unit of study. This lesson can be used as a precursor to World War Two or looking at Germany during the inter-war years.
The main task is literacy based and asks students to consider the reasons for the collapse of Germany's government and how the Weimar Republic was different to its predecessors (democratic processes).
Included are:
PowerPoint- differentiated challenge tasks/ visual prompts to help the less able/ Exam style questions
Worksheet- Information on the Weimar Republic and the Challenges faced by Germany by the end of the First World War.

An excellent EAL friendly, well-resourced and developed History lesson which looks to introduce students to Medieval understanding of disease and possible treatments based on information from the time period. The main activity looks to reveal to students the difficultly in making a judgement on which types of diseases were treated with the cures at the time, based on down right ridiculous Medieval beliefs!
Great as a follow up to the Black Death or as a precursor lesson.
SMSC has been considered with reflection opportunities within the main activity, such as should doctors morally treat ALL patients regardless of social status?
This lesson can also be used for a possible observation/interview or where students do not have their own books, as stand alone work booklet for students is provided.

This worksheet and activity lesson is an in-depth analysis of Queen Elizabeth l's Middle way and her legacy as Queen of England. Students will examine some of the early problems of her reign, with a key focus on the clash between Catholics and Protestants and the solutions she came up with.

This lesson is part of the First World War unit of study. It can be done as a one off lesson on conscription in World War One. Students have just had a lesson on the propaganda campaign launched by the British government to encourage men to volunteer for the First World War. Students will focus on the shift in policy towards conscription in this lesson and build on their knowledge of recruitment in the First World War.

An excellent, well resourced and developed GCSE lesson which looks to introduce students to Christian beliefs on life after death. The main activity looks to reveal to students the difficultly in making a judgement on modern Christian's after life destination based on Biblical quotes on how to lead your life. SMSC has been considered with reflection opportunities within the lesson, with a focus on core British Values such as tolerance. This lesson can also be used in key stage 3 because of the fantastic resources provided but in consideration for Key stage four, there is GCSE question based on AQA spec A with an opportunity for peer-assessment.

This lesson aims to continue to explore the transatlantic slave trade with an emphasis on the Middle Passage and slave transportation. Students will be exploring the lesson with a particular emphasis on empathy and emotional understanding of the slave journey across the Atlantic.
