I have split the lesson into two halves - it is designed for a 2 hr double lesson so some tasks allow students to get out their seats and gather information etc. (all activities resourced but can be easily adapted) The lesson has: 1. A lesson that looks at the importance of the Shahadah. The lesson comes complete with various activities, suggested video clips and exam practice with model answers. There's an emphasis on students re-capping their knowledge and understanding of Tahwid and Shirk.

The lesson is designed to introduce students to what each key term means and link it to both Christian and Muslim attitudes. I have created a worksheet with all key information on and a student task sheet so that they can elicit the key information. I have created a set of 3/4 questions in the format of 1 mark/ 2 mark exam questions that I print on different coloured paper for students to answer at the start of each lesson. The idea is students are able to recap on previous learning and apply it to exam style questions.
