This lesson looks at divergent beliefs within Christianity. Literalist/ Non-literalist etc. Students are then encouraged to write a (d) 15 mark answer using the information from the lesson. An example paragraph/ quotations and suggested writing criteria is offered

Lesson 1: Why is there evil in the world? Various activities exploring different types of evil. a) A game to play b) Activities centred upon the Black Eyed Peas 'Where is the love?' Lesson 2: What if the world was perfect? A creative lesson for students to explore various arguments when looking at the problem of evil. Contains: a) PowerPoint with activities and outcomes b) A homework task c) Differentiated comic strips for the final task where students need to produce an argument. d) Resources to compliment the PowerPoint tasks I use this lesson to introduce argument writing through the medium of debate and the use of the comic strip

This lesson looks at Religious Experiences and divergent views about them. Using the OXFORD textbook page 57-59 as a start point. The lesson looks at modern examples (found on YouTube) of: Speaking in tongues Charismatic healing Near Death Experience The lesson has clear differentiated outcomes and tasks throughout that support them. There's a strong focus upon a (d) style question at the end of the lesson complete with differentiated planning sheets and a model answer which is unpicked on the PowerPoint
