This recent Power Point, with animation, I have created to make it easy to cover the MAIN points on this topic. Many books make it too complicated for non-physicist !. It contains 5 slides that covers the basic from SHE to Cell notation. Then another 4 slides which goes through slowly an exam question, including the official mark linked to the worked out answer. The last 3 three must be printed out as a worksheet for students to annotate or write on as the first 5 slides are explained as shown.

Another important mechanism where learners make simple mistakes in OCR - keep forgetting the diploles on the C-X bond as in the AQA specification it is not required. So I covered both, including a starter activity and followed at the end with a stretch and challenge question. This keeps the learners motivated and gives them research skills required for university. Please try and put in the review if anyone requires a specific PPT or resources they want me to produce. Also, can give me an indication if anyone wants ALL my PPT’s on here at a discounted rate of around 40%.

Very effective power point which shows the mechanism students most over !! The use of little animation to help those visual learners to remember the reaction with great confidence as I have shown the mechanism BOTH with arrows AND without. This is mainly catered for ALL major examining boards namely AQA, OCR and Edexcel specification. Also used in the USA for other board possibly.

As an assessor for external I find that Ionic Equations are very easy marks for students to gain. However, its frustrating to see that very few correct answers are seen. I thought I make a ppt using my simple rules that I used as a student. This a FREE resource for helping to build a strong found on basic equations. I have also posted this on my You Tube channel for use, which I have attached here for use.
