A fun and engaging activity plotting coordinates on a coordinate plane to create a net of a 3D house. This printable download combines maths with 3D paper craft. Easy prep, print-and-go activity. Teacher instructions and step-by-step student instructions are included as well as answer keys for students to self-check work promoting independence. I have also included teacher demonstration models for decoration ideas to save you time although I don’t tell my students what they are making until they have plotted the net to add to the excitement! Ideas Christmas activity to make a gingerbread house, Halloween activity to make a haunted house, Easter activity to make Easter Bunny’s cottage, Link to history topics to make a house from a specific period. This engaging activity is differentiated: * Single Quadrant including translation, ** Single quadrant including reflection about a line and translation *** 4-quadrant including reflection about line and translation. Print and copy both pages of the recording sheet for each student. Assign students any letter on the track. Each card has a fraction problem which the students will have to solve. The number in the top left corner is the answer to ANOTHER Card. Students then find the card in the room that has the answer in the top left corner. They write the letter of this new card in the box on their recording sheet and continue.
