Success in Science

Average Rating4.16
(based on 57 reviews)

Science has been and always will be a passion of mine. As a successful science teacher and faculty leader it is my duty to make science accessible and fun for all, increasing prosperity and success within the science industry at a time where we need it most. These resources are aimed at changing the standard pedagogical approach to teaching and put a new modern touch to delivering science lessons through eye catching yet relevant imagery and questioning to allow independent exploration.

6.5 Limiting Water Loss

(0)
This resource guides a-level biologists through how terrestrial organisms such as plants and insects have to balance gas exchange with water loss. Insects and plants adaptations to this problem are explored and discussed in more detail. Stretch, challenge and lateral thinking questions are embedded throughout.

6.4 Gas Exchange in the Leaf

(0)
This resource guides a-level biologists through gas exchange in the leaf. The idea of compensation point is dicussed to get students thinking about the dynamic level of gas exchange taking place in a leaf before we explore its structure and how it meets the requirements of gas exchange. Stretch, challenge and lateral thinking questions are embedded throughout.
