Established in 1998 the National Gamekeepers’ Organisation Educational Trust (NGO ET) is a UK registered charity (1076923) We provide accurate educational information about the important role gamekeepers have in the UK’s practical habitat and conservation management. The NGO ET has quality educational material that links to the national curriculum in Geography, Science and citizenship from KS2/3 up to Tertiary level. We provide schools and colleges with an accessible resource for science based learning and insight into how rural pastimes have and continue to influence Britain’s cultural and rural heritage; finding out why the countryside looks the way it does. The management methods described within this quality resource are recognised by other conservation organisations as highly significant to the future of the countryside and many are adopting these management techniques.
