Spanish Viva 2 Unit 3.1 Lesson 2 of 3.
Plenty of differentiation up and down. Reading/writing/speaking opportunities. See slide notes for ideas/help.
Attractive animated graphics make it appealing to pupils.
Objectives by red/amber/green traffic lights to encourage pupils to aim to complete each level.
“Super learner” graphic to show extension.
Encourages use of target language.
It may well be enough for more than one lesson if you use it alongside your Viva 2 resources.
The resource is the lesson plan: read the slide notes carefully beforehand and they will guide you through the lesson with extra ideas for use/extension etc.
The date will automatically be correct but you may have to set up your PC/laptop to do this, too. To do this, in the Header and Footer box, on the Slide tab, select the Date and time check box. Click Update Automatically, and then choose the format you want from the list. Click Fixed, and then type the date and time that you want. Click Apply to All.

Includes starter, reading, speaking and writing, a game and a plenary.

¡Buena suerte!
Spanish Viva 2 Module 3.2 lesson 3 (of 3)
If you use Viva 2 for your classes, this is to accompany Viva 2 Module 3.2 about meal times. It is a self-contained lesson which you could use on its own, or use to go alongside the Viva resources.
What does it include? This lesson recaps basic foods and drinks from prior learning, introduces meal time vocab’ plus adds in some new words, too.
See the accompanying information sheet for more information.
If you have the textbook, use listenings from it but this will provide plenty of reading, speaking and writing opportunities.
A useful classroom wall display in French. WYSIWYG! Print in colour on A4 and cut to the shapes. Organise the words under the correct word type heading and use the images to help understanding. They can then be used during lessons by students and you as the teacher can draw your attention to them to show how to improve speaking and writing skills.
Spanish Dónde Vives
KS3 Where do you live vocab’ - casa/piso/aparamento/centro/afueras/bloque etc.
Lots of games and activities, teacher-led, pairs, whole class to build confidence in the ‘dónde vives’ vocabulary (types of house/where in town/adjectives/opinions).
This fits well with Listos 1 Module 4 but have a look at the vocabulary as it will fit with other textbooks or can be used on its own.
Here’s a summary of what you get:
A 63 page PowerPoint with vocabulary list .
Stars to represent difficulty but these are only as a guide as you will know your learners best.
PDF copies of just the activities so you don’t need to trawl through the PPT for them

Noël: A pack of French Christmas resources for years 7 to 11. 5 or more sheets per year group which eliminates the need to scrabble around every year as they are all different. Starts basic for Y7 with vocabulary based sheets/word search etc and by Y11 they have some multiple choice reading comprehension to do.
If you can’t fit these in to your SoW, why not use them for French club, HW or just for keen beans!
I’ve included a PDF of everything plus another copy which has hints/tips/answers also brought over from the original. Note: they print landscape.
Lesson 2. Use to introduce or consolidate work on unit 1.2 of Viva 1 Module 1 Mi Vida. Plenty of activities to fill a lesson plus in-built differentiation. Ooops! The picture I used here is of a girl...I'll rectify this in the resource and the image ASAP! Apologies...
