I've been teaching for 13 years in both secondary education and higher education teaching Science and Psychology. I studied Psychology at Newcastle University, where I gained a First Class Degree, followed by the Postgraduate in Low Intensity Therapies. After qualifying, I worked as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner specialising in anxiety, depression and emotional eating. I started teaching in 2011 and never looked back. My resources (all designed for Edexcel) pull together information from multiple resources including reputable websites, course textbooks, examiner reports and exam questions from Edexcel. Resources are user-friendly for students with a range of abilities with differentiated tasks. The written information is very detailed to support students in gaining a strong understanding of key concepts and key terminology. Diagrams are ones I use in my own teaching to support students to link concepts across topics. I address common misconceptions where relevant.
