Our Maths Investigation pack contains sixty maths statements to be investigated and is great for the 'using and applying' area of maths and reasoning which is so important to the new National Curriculum For each statement the children need to explain whether the statement is: Always true Sometimes true Never true The statements vary in difficulty meaning that everyone in the class can participate. You may want, for example, to have different groups of children working on different investigations. Statements to be investigated include: Digits in the 9x table add to 9. Add any four even numbers.
