Three Xmas activities for 3 lessons, aimed at Y3 level. Covers N.C objectives Read and write numbers up to 1000 in numerals and in words. Solve number problems and practical problems involving these ideas. Measure the perimeter of simple 2-D shapes. Know the number of seconds in a minute and the number of days in each month, year and leap year . Compare durations of events for example time taken for a task. Every activity is differentiated 3 ways to provide support and extra challenge. There is a recording sheet for each activity and all work is easy to edit, if needed. There are answers provided for activity 1 and 2, whereas activity 3 has multiple open ended answers. Each activity has 3 ‘Greater depth’ challenges to encourage deeper learning. Save your time preparing activities and treat yourself and your class to some Christmas maths. You deserve to put your feet up!
