Contraception for Year 9

Can be delivered in 3 or 4 lessons. Explores the reasons why teenagers decide to start having sex and looks at the possible consequences of making that choice, including unplanned pregnancy and STI’s and discusses some of the emotional aspects of that choice. It educates students on how to keep themselves safe from the risks of teen sex including information on** contraception**, condom use, STI testing and examines the benefits of delaying sex until a long term committed relationship. Online resource called ‘I wish’ for Year 9 students. Sign-up for a free membership to view all lessons before purchasing. Stream direct from our website for £50 for 12 months access (also included full access to all Year 7,8 and Year 10/11 resources). Follow-on material and detailed teacher notes included. Please mention to your PSHE Lead if you like the look of our programme. Apologies that this is not a free resource but we are not able to advertise as a paid resource on this platform. We are a charity & our fee just covers our costs to provide the programme to schools.
