Get your children inspired for the 2019 cricket world cup with these fun cricket questions. The children have a series of mathematical questions to solve based on the data from the 2015 world cup (taken from (cricbuzz.com). The children have to use the data tables and solve a variety of mathematical challenges based on the cricket data. The work comes with an answer scheme to save you as the teacher time - the children can mark their own work. I have also included a link to the opening party which could be watched to inspire the pupils.

The children must use this information to solve the variety of mathematical problems. Brilliant KS2 lesson in the run up to the world cup. These differentiated worksheets are linked to the attached Youtube video. Lower achieving children use their vocabulary boxes to fill the gaps. More able students are challenged to write paragraphs using the given vocabulary. Highest achievers/ greater depth are challenged to come up with their own important vocabulary. Brilliant exercise for evidence for writing across the curriculum!
