Two resources (3 A4 pages) to help pupils to develop an answer to the question above, with key time phrases, an introduction to the immediate future tense, key verbs and lots of translation practice. Resources on the topic of food and drink in the future tense: ¿qué vas a comer mañana? There is a resource with grammar, translation and reading activities to recap the immediate future tense construction that will allow pupils to scaffold their answers to the question above. There is also a Quiz Quiz Trade game, for pupils to use to recap this grammar point and vocabulary. A GCSE longer writing task with a grade 8 model answer in English to translate into Spanish, using a range of complex structures which pupils can then find in the Spanish model answer to use in their own work.

Everything pupils need to fully understand how the ‘gustar’ verbs work. A six page resource, with answers, which guides pupils through the process of understanding back-to-front verbs and how they work with nouns. The resource introduces ‘me gusta’ and goes on to use gustar with singular nouns, plural nouns and infinitives. It then introduce pupils to all the indirect object pronouns and other verbs that work the same way: me interesa/ me fascina/ me chifla etc. There is a comprehensive translation plenary which will demonstrate understanding.

A standalone worksheet on Family Relations that begins with an accessible reading and is followed by language/ translation task that will scaffold pupils’ own answers to this question. The resource includes a reading comprehension, vocabulary hunt and match up, an exercise on negative sentences, reading gap-fill, translation into French (recycling language from the resource) and a plenary writing task.

A revision list of key structures and A* phrases to use with GCSE or examination sets. All of the structures are given with examples to place them in context for pupils to learn and adapt. There is also a worksheet which requires pupils to manipulate these complex structures with translation activities and a gap-fill.

A writing mat to introduce the concept of the subjunctive mood: its triggers, some key verb formations and examples that use these over a variety of topics.

Two resources to introduce work experience to pupils. The first resource is vocabulary rich and is structured as a language mat to allow pupils to build up orally or in writing what they did for their work experience. The second resources is a reading activity. There are sentences in Spanish which give opinions about work experience and pupils must decide if they are positive or negative. This resource is not exam board specific and is suitable for any question in which pupils respond to bullet points on a theme.
