Spanish GCSE scaffolded writing task on healthy living: la vida sana (plan & model answer)

Spanish GCSE las vacaciones: holidays in the past tense (preterite verbs and translation practice)
A worksheet for GCSE to quickly revise preterite verb formation, in the context of holidays and holiday vocabulary. There is a verb drill activity recapping thematic vocabulary and translation tasks into English and Spanish.
These activities will scaffold pupils’ answer to the question: “describe tus últimas vacaciones”

Spanish GCSE 30 Constructions in different tenses followed by an infinitive: mat & translation
A bank of key verb constructions which are all followed by the infinitive in Spanish. The verbs have been conjugated in the “yo” forms of the present, preterite, imperfect, future and conditional. For use in oral and written work.
There is also some practice translation: Spanish to English and English to Spanish which uses these constructions, with answers.

Spanish GCSE hobbies &free time: los pasatiempos el tiempo libre translation & core vocabulary
A speaking mat worksheet to help students express opinions about hobbies they like/ don’t like to do. There is a list of hobbies to introduce the vocabulary, some key opinion phrases and key justification words.
There is a general powerpoint to introduce the topic and another which contains some sentences on to translate (using the speaking mat).
