This is a KS4 PSHE/Citizenship/Life Skills unit aimed at Year 10/11. The unit of work aims to inform students about the world of money, so they can make informed choices about spending and where to invest their money. The lessons look at costs associated with moving out, food shopping, having the right bank account, the importance of a pension etc. Included is the learning journey and confidence tracker. As it is not an assessed subject in my school, students use a confidence tracker and the start and end of the unit to demonstrate their progress. Please review if you download as it has taken a lot of time planning and researching.

This is a double lesson if the whole of the documentary is watched. The lesson combines looking at the changing relationship between parents and their children, and the relationships with the wider family. 4 mark exam question to finish.

L1 for Rights and Responsibilties, aimed at AQA Citizenship GCSE- Y9. This lesson introduces the concepts of justice and fairness. Students look at what age they can do things by. This leads onto looking at the age of criminal responsibility. I have included a link to the BBC Iplayer drama “Responsible Child.” There is a worksheet for this. This drama is not essential to the lesson, but it does provide a more modern approach to debating the age of criminal responsibility and is a nice alternative to looking at James Bulger. This element of the lesson will be usable for as long it is on iplayer. Please leave feedback if you download.

Planned to be delivered to students studying the AQA Specification A, but easily adapted for other exam boards. I have planned all content to be delivered during an intensive Easter School session, in which the aim is for students to understand the main content of the exam. There is a revision checklist, and some exam answer structure support included at the end of the powerpoint. Also suitable for a school VLE.

A KS3 (Y7) lesson looking at Muslim beliefs in Akirah. Students complete a market place activity based on Paradise, Hell, Barzakh and the day of judgement. They then use this to complete a 6 mark exam question (developing skills for an AQA 12 mark question).

This is a resource I will be using to give students alongside their mock exam paper (AQA but easily adapted for other exam boards). The top of the proforma is for students to analyse the questions of the themes paper. There is then a PLC for the whole exam- including Christianity, Islam, Themes B, D, E and F. This will be used for the mock feedback lesson before class revision begins.
